The graduate program in Stage & Event Techniques prepares you for the profession of operator and systems technician in one of these four specific technical fields:

-Lighting
-Sound
-Image and Projection
-Stage Mechanics

You are both versatile and specialized in one of these disciplines, where you can manage a crew and equipment. For this unique training in Flanders, the RITCS in Brussels and the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp are combining their knowledge, expertise, network and infrastructure. Thanks to the extensive network in the broad art, event and audiovisual sector, you will be guided by a team of teachers and coaches who are passionate and have extensive practical experience. The program offers you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of professional venues, ranging from unique found spaces to theaters to festival grounds to event venues, the possibilities are endless.... Because our program is set in the major cities of Brussels and Antwerp, you will quickly come into contact with a vibrant international, cultural environment.

You generally earn your graduate degree in two years (120 credits).


The program's biggest strengths:

- less theoretical than a bachelor
- at least 1/2 workplace learning
- you can immediately start working in the sector
- possible to transfer to certain bachelor programs in a shortened program

All our classes are in Dutch.

This course is primarily aimed at school leavers from BSO, TSO, KSO, ASO and DBSO. In addition, the course is also a great choice for job seekers who want to professionalize their skills and increase their chances on the job market.
